VR enabled Intex Aqua 5.5VR+ smartphone launched at Rs 5,799
As suggested by the name, the Aqua 5.5 VR+ will allow the users to experience VR content with a compatible VR headset.
Homegrown brand Intex Technologies today launched a new budget smartphone in India. Dubbed as the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+, the smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 5,799. It will be exclusively available on Flipkart.
Coming to the specifications, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ features a 5.50-inch HD IPS display with the screen resolution of 720×1280 pixels. Under its hood, the phone makes use of an unspecified MediaTek processor clocked at 1.25GHz. Pairing with the chipset there is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage space can be further expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
In terms of optics, the smartphone boasts of an 8MP rear-facing primary camera, which is accompanied by a dull-tone LED flash. Likewise, there is a 5MP camera for selfies and video calling at the front. The selfie camera also comes with a flash.
On the software front, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system right out of the box. Keeping the lights on is a 2,800mAh battery inside the device. The connectivity suite on the phone offers dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
As suggested by the name, the Aqua 5.5 VR+ will allow the users to experience VR content with a compatible VR headset. Moreover, users will also be able to view 3D content on the smartphone.
In addition, the Intex Aqua 5.5 VR+ arrives pre-installed services like QR code scanner, Xender, Gaana, and Vistoso.
The smartphone is offered in a trendy Champagne color with a textured rear panel.
