Xiaomi 13 Ultra released in Hong Kong, European launch to take place on June 12

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra has officially been released in Hong Kong. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra was released in China back in April 2023, following the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Pro in India.

This also marks the first time that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be available for purchase outside China. Moreover, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is also hitting European markets on June 12. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is a camera-centric flagship smartphone with cameras co-developed with Leica.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Price, Availability

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra price in Hong Kong is set at HKD 8,999 (roughly Rs 94,700) for the sole 12GB/512GB configuration. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra pre-orders in Hong Kong will start later today, while the phone will go on sale from June 13.

For comparison, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra price in China starts from CNY 5,999 (roughly Rs 71,000) for the 12GB/256GB variant. Moreover, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to cost €1,299 (roughly Rs 1,14,700) in Europe.

In Hong Kong, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra comes in Black and Olive shades. The company has confirmed the launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra in Germany, France, Spain, and Italy on June 12, although other European markets could also get access to Xiaomi's camera-centric flagship.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Specifications

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone boots Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a massive 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Xiaomi 13 Ultra sports a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO AMOLED panel with curved edges. The screen supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and boasts a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. You also get a 120Hz variable refresh rate. Up front, there's a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

For optics, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 50MP primary camera. The sensor features a variable aperture that can be adjusted to f/1.9 or f/4.0. The main camera is accompanied by a 50MP Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens, along with two 50MP Sony IMX858 telephoto sensors with 2.5x and 5x optical zoom.
