Xiaomi and other smartphone manufacturers often send their upcoming devices to repute reviewers well before launch. This ensures unboxing and review videos are released quickly after the devices are officially launched.

The Xiaomi 13T is expected to be a global smartphone, which means it should be available in multiple markets outside China. Several leaks and rumors have repeatedly claimed that the Xiaomi 13T is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi K60 Ultra, which launched in China recently.

The unboxing and "first impressions" video uploaded on YouTube appears to confirm that the Xiaomi 13T is identical to the Redmi K60 Ultra. However, there are quite a few differences under the sleek exterior.

Xiaomi has swapped out the Redmi logo with the Xiaomi logo at the bottom-left corner of the back of the smartphone. The back as well as the camera island is similar to the Redmi K60 Ultra.

Is The Xiaomi 13T | Pro Same As The Redmi K60 Ultra?

The Redmi K60 Ultra features a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main camera, which is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The Xiaomi 13T | Pro is tipped to feature a 20MP front-facing camera. There's a 5000mAh battery which supports 120W wired fast charging. Both features are identical to the Redmi K60 Ultra.

Incidentally, the Xiaomi 13T and the Xiaomi 13T Pro are two different devices, and both would look identical. However, the Xiaomi 13T Pro is tipped to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus / Ultra, while the Xiaomi 13T is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Plus / Ultra.

The unboxing video confirms the Xiaomi 13T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra chipset, 12GB of RAM, 3GB of virtual RAM, and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs MIUI 14-based Android 13.

The global version of the Xiaomi 13T has NFC support and an under-display fingerprint scanner just like the Redmi K60 Ultra. It features a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 2712 x 1220 pixels resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2600 nits.
