Xiaomi 14: What to Expect?
As mentioned above, the Xiaomi 14 is already available in the Chinese market. So, we expect the Indian variant will come with a similar set of specs as the Chinese model. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage.
However, the Indian variant is said to be available in single 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant. For imaging, the Xiaomi 14 sports a 50MP Leica ultra-dynamic main camera with OIS support, a 50MP ultrawide lens with a 115-degree FOV, and a 50MP Leica 75mm floating telephoto lens with OIS support.
The smartphone runs HyperOS based on Android 14 and is backed by a 4,610 mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging support. At the front, the Xiaomi 14 features a 32MP camera and has a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution (2670x 1200 pixels) and an adaptive 120Hz (1Hz - 120Hz) refresh rate.
As far as the price is concerned, the phone is tipped to come at around Rs 65,000 in India. If it turns out to be true, the Xiaomi 14 could be significantly more affordable than the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The latter is now selling for Rs 74,999 in India.
We suggest our readers take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement. We'll know the complete pricing and specifications at the launch later today.
