Xiaomi 14 Series Launch in India Hinted: Leica Partnership Teased in Official Post
Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its flagship smartphones globally. The launch of the Xiaomi 14 series was recently teased on the company's official X (formerly Twitter) account.
The teaser highlights Xiaomi's partnership with Leica for imaging technology on its flagship smartphones. While the post doesn't confirm the name of the device or devices arriving in the country, it does hint to a new smartphone launch.

Xiaomi 14 Ultra Launch Date (Expected)
The post reads, "Xiaomi has been at the forefront of Smartphone innovation, while #Leica has built a legacy of excellence in iconic cameras. Get ready to reimagine smartphone photography with a partnership that pushes boundaries."
This suggests that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra could be making its global debut at MWC 2024. Moreover, it also hints to the imminent arrival of the Xiaomi 14 series in India. However, the brand will likely only unveil the Xiaomi 14 Pro India.
To recall, the Xiaomi 14 series was unveiled in China last year as the first to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Although no mention was made about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, all rumors and leaks point to an MWC 2024 launch.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra Specifications (Expected)
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The handset will run Android 14-based HyperOS. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra sports a 1440p LTPO OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature a quad-camera setup on the back with an adjustable aperture between f/1.63 to f/4.0. Additionally, it will also feature Leica's Summilux lens, which is spotted on the Xiaomi 14 Pro.
The phone will likely pack a 5,000 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support and 50W wireless charging support. As of now, details about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are under wraps, but stay tuned to Gizbot for more information about the handset and the Xiaomi 14 Pro launch in India.
