Xiaomi 14T Series Global Launch Date Confirmed: Check Expected Pricing and Specifications

The Xiaomi 14T series has got an official global launch date. The line-up is expected to include the Xiaomi 14T and Xiaomi 14T Pro. Rumours about the Xiaomi 14T series have been doing the rounds for a while now, but no official launch date was provided, until now.

However, the brand recently confirmed that the Xiaomi 14T series launch date is set for September 26, 2024. The event will take place in Berlin, Germany at 14:00 local time or 05:30 pm IST.

Xiaomi 14T Series: What we know so far!

As of now, Xiaomi is yet to confirm any details about the Xiaomi 14T series. However, the brand has confirmed that both the Xiaomi 14T and 14T Pro will feature Leica-branded cameras.

The official microsite for the Xiaomi 14T series reads, "Forging ahead: A new chapter of humanistic photography with Leica". We can also see silhouettes of the two phones, which appear to have a square-shaped camera island and flat frames, similar to that of the Xiaomi 14 (Review).

It further notes, "Through multiple extensive collaborations, the Xiaomi 14T Series shatters the confines of time and space, unveiling a new era of cinematic artistry and humanistic photography." Xiaomi also confirmed that 14T series buyers will get a one-time out-of-warranty repair with no labor fees and a one-time free screen repair.

Xiaomi 14T Series Specifications (Expected)

Previous reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra SoC, while the Xiaomi 14T Pro will use the Dimensity 9300+ chipset. The two phones will also pack a 5,000 mAh battery. They will run Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box.

Additionally, both handsets will feature a 6.67-inch 1.5K (1220x2712 pixels) AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. The Xiaomi 14T series is also expected to feature an IP68 rating for resistance to dust and water.

In terms of optics, the report suggests that the Xiaomi 14T will feature a 1/1.56" 50MP Sony IMX906 primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP telephoto unit with 2.6x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens with a 120-degree FOV.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro will also feature the same camera line-up but will use an updated 1/1.31" 50MP Light Fusion 900 primary sensor with OIS. Up front, the Xiaomi 14T series will use a 32MP selfie camera.

Xiaomi 14T Series Pricing Expected
