Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launch Date Confirmed for March 2: A Day Ahead of MWC 2025 in Barcelona
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has been the subject of numerous rumours, leaks, and even official teasers recently. Its initial unveiling in China is anticipated on February 26. However, the global launch date has now been confirmed for March 2. This coincides with the day before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) begins in Barcelona, Spain.
Historically, phone manufacturers often hold launch events the weekend before MWC starts, which is always on a Monday. This year, MWC begins on March 3. Therefore, it is likely that Xiaomi's event will occur in Barcelona as well.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Camera Features
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra has appeared in leaked renders and hands-on images. Rumours suggest its camera capabilities will be exceptional. It is expected to feature a 50 MP main camera with a 1-inch sensor, a 50 MP ultrawide lens, a 50 MP short-range telephoto lens, and a 200 MP long-range periscope telephoto lens.
This impressive setup uses the same sensor as the vivo X100 Ultra and X200 Pro. To preview its camera performance, sample shots or videos taken with the Xiaomi 15 Ultra can be viewed online.

Specifications and Features
The device will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is rumoured to have a substantial 6,000 mAh battery supporting both 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The phone will operate on Android 15 with Xiaomi's HyperOS 2.0 from its release.
Pricing for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to align with that of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. If last year's pattern continues, the 'vanilla' Xiaomi 15 might also debut globally alongside the Ultra model. Meanwhile, the Pro version may remain exclusive to China.
Xiaomi's strategic timing for this launch aims to capture attention just before MWC kicks off. As anticipation builds for this flagship device, enthusiasts are eager to see how it performs against competitors in terms of features and pricing.
