Xiaomi 15 Ultra Launched with Lecia Quad Cameras, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, 2K 120Hz OLED Display
Xiaomi has unveiled its flagship smartphone in China, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra. This device boasts a 6.73-inch 2K TCL C9 OLED LTPO display with a peak brightness of 3200 nits and supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The screen offers a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120Hz and features 1920Hz PWM dimming for enhanced viewing.
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It includes a dual-channel wing-shaped cold pump cooling system with a vapor-liquid separation design. This smartphone also introduces Xiaomi Star Communication, enabling two-way calls over a distance of up to 7km without network dependency.

The phone's camera setup is impressive, featuring a 50MP Leica main camera with a new generation ultra-large sensor. It includes a 14EV native dynamic range and optical image stabilization (OIS). Additionally, there is a 50MP Leica ultra-wide-angle camera with JN5 image sensor and a super macro capability at 5cm distance.
Moreover, the device houses a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using an HP9 image sensor, offering up to 4.3x optical zoom. The 50 telephoto capabilities are further enhanced by a floating telephoto lens and macro functionality. The phone supports movie-level video recording with ACES LOG and an anti-shake system developed by Xiaomi.
Design and Battery Features
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra sports an unibody metal frame with Dragon Crystal Glass protection version 2.0. It is equipped with a substantial 6000mAh battery that supports fast charging at 90W wired and 80W wireless rates, along with reverse wireless charging capabilities.
An additional professional imaging kit accessory is available in Gilded Gray colour. This kit includes a replaceable shutter button, detachable metal finger grip, and an extra built-in battery of 2000mAh, bringing the total battery capacity to an impressive 8000mAh when combined with the phone.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra comes in several configurations: starting from the base model with 12GB RAM and extending up to models featuring dual satellite communication options. It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS version 2.0 and offers storage options ranging from 256GB to as much as 1TB UFS 4.1 storage.

This device supports dual SIM cards and features advanced connectivity options including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth version 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C audio, Hi-Res audio support, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology, and satellite communication capabilities.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra Pricing Details
The pricing for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra varies based on configuration: the model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at CNY 6,499 approximately Rs.78,050; while the top-tier model featuring dual satellite communication costs 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage costs CNY 7,799 around Rs. 96,050 in India.
Available in classic Black and Silver colours as well as a Pine Green shade among others, this smartphone will be available for order starting March in China. A global launch for the Xiaomi 15 series is scheduled for March 2, this will include a release in India.
