Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Now Available for Pre-order in India: Check Price, Specifications, Offers

The Xiaomi 17 series is now up for pre-order in India. The Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra were unveiled in India last week and got its global debut in February. Both the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and vanilla 17 model use the same flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and come with Lecia-tuned cameras.

The Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 will be available for pre-order in India from March 13 at 12 pm IST and will continue until March 17. Moreover, Xiaomi's two flagship phones will go on open sale in India starting March 18.

Xiaomi 17 Series Price in India

The Xiaomi 17 price in India starts at Rs 89,999 for the 12GB/256GB variant, while the 12GB/512GB model is priced at Rs 99,999. Moreover, the Xiaomi 17 Ultra price in India is set at Rs 1,39,999 for the sole 16GB/512GB configuration.

Xiaomi 17 Series Offers in India

Xiaomi is offering a ₹10,000 instant discount on purchases made using SBI credit or debit cards. Buyers will also receive bundled digital subscriptions, including four months of Spotify Premium, three months of YouTube Premium, and three months of Google AI Pro. Additionally, Jio users can avail telecom benefits worth up to ₹31,500.

Customers purchasing the devices will also get a complimentary phone damage protection plan valued at ₹9,999. As part of a limited-time early purchase offer, Xiaomi is bundling the Xiaomi 17 Ultra Photography Kit Pro, worth ₹19,999. The Xiaomi 17 series will be available via Amazon, mi.com, and Xiaomi retail stores starting March 18.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra features a redesigned look with a flat front panel, ultra-slim bezels, and an 8.29mm thin chassis. It uses a micro-curved aluminium alloy frame and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. Audio is handled by dual stereo speakers with AI noise reduction.

The device sports a 6.9-inch M10 OLED LTPO display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 2K resolution (2608×1200). The panel supports a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, 1920Hz PWM dimming, and up to 3,500 nits peak brightness. Xiaomi's HyperRGB display technology enables 12-bit colour and improved power efficiency.

Photography is a major focus, with a Leica-tuned triple camera system. It includes a 1-inch Leica main camera based on the Light Fusion 1050L sensor with LOFIC HDR, a 200MP Leica telephoto camera offering continuous optical zoom between 75mm and 100mm with APO optics, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 115° field of view and 5cm macro support. The system also supports 30cm telephoto macro. Rear cameras record up to 8K video, while the 50MP front camera supports 4K recording at 60fps.

The phone runs on the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It ships with HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. A 6,000mAh battery powers the device with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with reverse wireless charging. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, satellite communication, and multi-system GNSS including GPS, NavIC, Galileo, and Beidou.

It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The device packs a 6,330mAh battery with 100W HyperCharge wired charging and 50W wireless charging support.

For photography, the Xiaomi 17 includes Leica-tuned triple rear cameras: a 50MP Light Fusion 950 main sensor (1/1.31-inch), a 50MP telephoto camera with a 60mm focal length, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 102° field of view. A 50MP front camera handles selfies. The phone supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K Dolby Vision at 60fps.

It runs HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 and includes Xiaomi's HyperAI features such as AI writing, AI search, and AI dynamic wallpapers, alongside the Xiaomi 3D IceLoop cooling system for sustained performance.
