Xiaomi 17 Ultra Price Tipped Ahead of Global Launch: Expected to Debut Before MWC 2026 Barcelona

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is tipped to reach global markets in late February, lining up as a rival to the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. A new leak outlines expected international pricing, colour options, battery changes, and memory variants, while also indicating a later India launch window in early March.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Global Pricing (Expected)

According to tipster Arsène Lupin (@MysteryLupin) on X, the international Xiaomi 17 Ultra with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage could be priced at EUR 1,499 (about Rs. 1,60,100) in select regions. By comparison, the same configuration costs CNY 7,499 (around Rs. 96,000) in China, pointing to a large price jump outside its home market.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is also expected to make its debut in India in the first quarter of 2026. However, we believe the Xiaomi 17 Ultra price in India could fall between Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 1,30,000, excepting a hike over last year's Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

The leak also suggests that Xiaomi will sell the global Xiaomi 17 Ultra in white, black, and green finishes. The Chinese version adds a purple option that may stay exclusive to that market. Another report indicated that some countries could also receive a 16GB RAM and 1TB storage model, alongside the 16GB and 512GB variant.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra Specifications

A key hardware difference appears to be battery capacity. The global Xiaomi 17 Ultra is said to use a 6,000mAh cell, while the Chinese model reportedly carries a larger 6,800mAh battery. Such reduced capacities for international units are common among Chinese manufacturers, often due to regional design rules and certification requirements.

Leaked specifications state that both Chinese and global Xiaomi 17 Ultra variants share the same core hardware. The phone is expected to feature a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and Dragon Crystal Glass 3. Power is likely to come from a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, running Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is also reported to support 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. On the back, a Leica-branded triple camera system is said to include a 50-megapixel main sensor, 50-megapixel ultrawide camera, and 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens, while a 50-megapixel selfie camera handles front imaging duties. The standard Xiaomi 17 is expected to launch alongside the Ultra, with the overall Xiaomi 17 series likely to reach global shelves before MWC 2026.

Together, these leaks suggest Xiaomi is planning a premium global push for the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, with higher prices and a slightly smaller battery than the Chinese version but similar cameras, display, processor, and charging speeds. Official confirmation on specifications, Indian pricing, and exact release dates is still awaited from Xiaomi.
