The Xiaomi 17T is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. The Xiaomi 17T made its debut in India last week as the most affordable phone in the company's flagship 17 series.

The Xiaomi 17T features a MediaTek chipset, a triple-camera setup co-tuned by Leica, a large silicon carbon battery with fast charging support, and a vibrant OLED display. Its debut also marked the return of the company's 'T' series in India since the Mi 11T launch.

The Xiaomi 17T price in India starts from Rs 59,999 for the base 12GB/256GB model, while the 12GB/512GB configuration will set you back Rs 64,999. The Xiaomi 17T will go on sale through Amazon Xiaomi's official website, and Xiaomi retail stores across the country at 12 pm (IST) today.

The Xiaomi 17T is offered in Violet, Black, and Blue colours. As part of the launch offers, Xiaomi is offering either a ₹5,000 instant discount on select HDFC Bank, SBI Card, ICICI Bank, and American Express cards or a ₹5,000 exchange bonus.

Xiaomi is also providing up to 18 months of no-cost EMI, zero down payment, and an assured buyback scheme with up to 60 percent value retention after one year, along with complimentary Spotify Premium, YouTube Premium, and Google AI Pro subscriptions.

The Xiaomi 17T arrives as a feature-packed smartphone with a strong focus on display comfort, photography, and battery life. One of its standout features is Xiaomi Vision Care, a display technology developed using medical research to reduce eye strain. It intelligently adjusts blue light levels, flicker, motion blur, and brightness based on ambient conditions, earning TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification for a more comfortable viewing experience during extended usage.

The smartphone sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a resolution of 2756 x 1268 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, up to 3,500 nits peak brightness, and a 3,840Hz PWM dimming system alongside DC dimming for improved eye comfort. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection adds durability to the premium display package.

For photography, Xiaomi has partnered with Leica to equip the 17T with a versatile triple-camera setup. The primary camera is a 50MP Light Fusion 800 sensor with OIS, f/1.7 aperture, and Leica Summilux optics. It is paired with a 50MP Leica 5x periscope telephoto camera featuring OIS, macro support from 30cm, 10x optical-grade zoom, and up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom. Completing the setup is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The rear cameras also support up to 4K 60fps video recording.

Additional imaging features include Leica Live Moment and Leica Live Portrait, which capture natural motion and realistic background blur. A dedicated Stage mode is designed to improve image quality in challenging concert and event lighting conditions.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17T is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The Xiaomi 3D IceLoop cooling system helps maintain performance during intensive tasks.

The device packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W HyperCharge support and 50W PPS charging compatibility. Other highlights include HyperOS 3 based on Android 16, dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, IR blaster, IP68 rating, and a USB Type-C audio interface. The phone measures 8.17mm thick and weighs 200g.
