Xiaomi Civi 3 launched with MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC, 120Hz OLED Display, Five Cameras

Xiaomi has officially unveiled a new smartphone in its Civi series in China. The Xiaomi Civi 3 debuts as the latest mid-range smartphone to join the company's ranks, succeeding last year's Xiaomi Civi 2.

The Xiaomi Civic 3 arrives with a MediaTek chipset, five cameras in total (two on the front and three on the back), a sizable battery with super-fast charging, and a smooth OLED display. The phone also stays true to the sleek design, which has become synonymous with the Civi series.

Xiaomi Civi 3 Pricing, Design

The Xiaomi Civi 3 price is set at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 29,250) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Additionally, the Xiaomi Civi 3 also comes in 12GB/512GB and 12GB/1TB configurations that will set you back CNY 2,699 (roughly Rs 31,600) and CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,100), respectively.

Like most phones in the series, the Xiaomi Civi 3 won't be made available outside China. The Xiaomi Civi 3 comes in Coconut Ash, Mint Green, Adventure Gold, and Rose Purple colour options. The Xiaomi Civi 3 boasts a sleek design weighing 173.5 grams and measuring just 7.56mm thick.

Xiaomi Civi 3 Specifications

The Xiaomi Civi 3 is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra SoC paired with the Mali-G610 GPU. The chip is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Xiaomi Civi 3 boots Android 13 out of the box with the MIUI 14 skin on top.

The Xiaomi Civi 3 sports a 6.55-inch FHD+ Curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. The screen features a 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz High Frequency PWM Dimming. The panel offers HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. The Xiaomi Civi 3 packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging.

For optics, the Xiaomi Civi 3 gets a 50 MP Sony IMX800 primary sensor with an f/1.77 aperture and OIS support, an 8 MP Sony IMX355 ultrawide unit with a 120° field of view, and 2 MP macro unit. Up front, the Civi 3 has a main 32 MP selfie camera with a 78° field of view and a second 32 MP vlogging camera with a 100° field of view and support for 4K video recording.
