Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Launched with Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, Leica Cameras: Price, Specifications

Xiaomi has officially announced the first smartphone with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro arrives as a premium mid-range smartphone in the Chinese market.

Apart from the chipset, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro also features Leica cameras, which is the first time the brand will leverage its partnership outside the flagship range. So without any delays, let's dive into the specifications and pricing of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Specifications

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is powered by the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The chip is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone packs a 4,700 mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro sports a 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen also supports a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The panel supports HDR10+, HDR Vivid, Dolby Vision, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. The phone also packs dual-stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Cameras

For optics, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro's rear camera setup has been co-developed with Leica. The setup includes a 50 MP Summilux Lens that uses a Light Hunter 800 sensor with OIS, and an f/1.63 aperture. The main camera is paired with a 50 MP Leica portrait lens with an f/1.89 aperture and a 12 MP Leica ultrawide lens with an f/2.2 aperture.

Up front, Xiaomi's latest premium mid-range smartphone features two selfie cameras, a 32 MP primary sensor with Autofocus and an f/2.0 aperture, and a 70-degree FOV and a 32 MP ultrawide shooter with a 100-degree FOV and an f/2.4 aperture. The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro can record 4K video at up to 60fps on the back and 4K video at 30fps on the front.

Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro Pricing, Colors

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro price in China starts from CNY 2,999 (roughly Rs 35,150) for the base 12GB/256GB model. Moreover, the handset is also offered in a 12GB/512GB and 16GB/512GB configuration that will set you back CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs 38,650) and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs 42,150), respectively.

The Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is offered in Spring Wild Green, Soft Matte Powder (Pink), Breeze Blue, and Starr Sky Black color options. Additionally, the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro is also offered in three limited custom colors (White, Pink, Blue), which combines Kona Leather and glass. As of now, there is no word on the availability of the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro outside China.
