The Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro is anticipated to succeed the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro, which debuted in China in March with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. The upcoming model is expected to feature Qualcomm's yet-to-be-released Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.

Several tipsters have shared insights into its design and features, and the phone's price has also been leaked. In June, the Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro was launched in India as the Xiaomi 14 CIVI, which suggests that its successor will be unveiled as the Xiaomi 15 CIVI.

Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro Price Tipped

According to tipster Smart Pikachu on Weibo, the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro price could start from CNY 3,000 (approximately Rs 35,000). It is speculated to be the first device featuring the Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC.

Additionally, it is expected to include a Leica-supported cameras. The phone may sport dual bionic front cameras, a metal middle frame, and a glass body. Its rear camera island could have a round design located at the top left corner of the panel, like its predecessor.

Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro Specifications Tipped

The Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro will likely incorporate an SM8735 chipset, believed to be the Snapdragon 8s Elite SoC. This processor is anticipated to launch by March next year. The phone might feature a "relatively small" 120Hz 1.5K quad-curved screen with uniform bezels and dual hole-punch slots at the top for housing front camera sensors.

In terms of design, the Xiaomi CIVI 5 Pro is tipped to have a circular camera module positioned on the upper left corner of its rear panel. It is expected to include a telephoto lens and come with a fibreglass back panel and metal side frame. A battery capacity of around 5,000mAh is also anticipated for this device.

The predecessor, Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro, was initially priced at CNY 2,999 (around Rs. 34,600) for its base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage in China. On the other hand, the Xiaomi 14 CIVI price in India currently starts from Rs 40,999.

The phone sports a 6.55-inch Quad Curved AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offering a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling, and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen supports Dolby Vision and HDR10+ for a premium viewing experience, complemented by dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.

Co-developed with Leica, the rear cameras feature a 50MP Summilux lens (f/1.63, OIS), a 50MP portrait lens (f/1.89), and a 12MP ultrawide lens (f/2.2). Up front, it offers dual 32MP selfie cameras-a primary sensor with autofocus and a 70° FOV, and an ultrawide lens with a 100° FOV. The phone records 4K video at 60fps (rear) and 30fps (front).

Running Android 14-based HyperOS, the device supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, 5G, and more, with three years of OS updates and four years of security patches. The 4,700mAh battery supports 67W fast charging, with Xiaomi promising 80% battery health after 1,600 charge cycles. For security, it includes an in-display fingerprint sensor.
