Xiaomi Confirms Redmi Note 15 Pro Series Launch for August 21
Xiaomi has officially locked in August 21 as the launch date for its Redmi Note 15 Pro series in China. The lineup will include the Redmi Note 15 Pro and the Note 15 Pro+, with the company already teasing the design of the higher-end model.

A Familiar Yet Refined Design
The Note 15 Pro+ carries a look that feels familiar to anyone who has followed Redmi’s design choices lately. It features a large circular camera housing in the center, packing a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization. The phone has a fully curved frame and display, aiming to balance aesthetics with comfort in hand. Xiaomi describes this as part of its push to give the Note series a more premium look and feel.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Powers the Pro+
Benchmark listings have given us an early look at the hardware inside the Note 15 Pro+. A Geekbench 6 entry tied to the device suggests it will run on Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chip.
That’s an upgrade from the 7s Gen 3 used in the previous generation, though it doesn’t quite match the performance of the more powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. The listing also revealed scores of 1228 in single-core and 3230 in multi-core, alongside 16GB of RAM.
Charging and Connectivity Upgrades
Certification details point to more upgrades under the hood. The Note 15 Pro+ is listed with 90W fast charging support, which should make topping up the battery a quick affair.
Another certification revealed support for Beidou satellite messaging, hinting at a possible “Satellite Edition” of the Note 15 Pro+. If launched, this would mark Redmi’s first phone to include satellite connectivity, potentially useful in regions with limited mobile coverage.
