The Redmi A4 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today. To recall, the Redmi A4 5G was unveiled last week with the aim of bringing 5G connectivity to a more budget-conscious audience.

The Redmi A4 5G also debuted as the first smartphone in India to incorporate a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. Moreover, the phone also comes with a super-smooth display, a large battery with fast charging support, and a high-res main camera.

The Redmi A4 5G is set to go on sale in India for the first time today at 12 noon IST. Customers can purchase the handset through Amazon.in, mi.com, and Xiaomi's offline retail outlets.

The Redmi A4 5G price in India starts from Rs 8,499 for the base 4GB/64GB model, whereas the 4GB/128GB variant will set you back Rs 9,499. The Redmi A4 5G is offered in Starry Black and Sparkle Purple colour options.

Redmi A4 5G Specifications

The Redmi A4 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Redmi A4 5G features a 6.88-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. It runs Android 14 with Xiaomi's HyperOS, promising two years of software updates and four years of security patches.

The Redmi A4 5G features a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and an unnamed auxiliary lens. Up front, there's a 5MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 5,160 mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support, although a 33W adapter is bundled in the box.
