Xiaomi extends warranty of select smartphones in India: All you need to know
Xiaomi tends to lead the pack when it comes to the latest smartphone hardware, particularly in the mid-range. The Chinese smartphone maker prioritises on delivering the best value smartphones across every price range. And now, the brand is taking things up a notch, extending the warranty of some of its smartphones in India.
However, the extended warranty will only apply to a handful of smartphones and will only cover some issues. The Xiaomi extended warranty offer will apply to the Poco X3 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note 10 Pro Max, and the flagship Mi 11 Ultra.
Xiaomi Extended Warranty Program
So if you have purchased any one of these four phones within the last two years and are currently experiencing issues with the front camera or a motherboard failure, then Xiaomi will resolve it under warranty.
It is worth noting that the extended warranty will not cover "rooted phones, liquid damage, tampered or broken cases." The extended warranty program was announced on the Xiaomi Insiders Discord server so users could give their feedback.

Xiaomi has extended the warranty to 2 years for these 📱s
• Redmi Note 10
• Redmi Note 10 Pro
• Redmi Note 10 Pro Max
• Mi 11 Ultra
• Poco X3 Pro
If you have any of these📱which is less than 2 years old with 🤳or motherboard dead, then you can fix it for free.
Considering the extended warranty only applies to select smartphones, it does lead us to believe that the Chinese smartphone maker may have discovered potential issues in the parts of these phones. If this is indeed the case, then taking a proactive step is definitely a move in the right direction.
