Xiaomi Blackshark gaming smartphone AnTuTu listing leaks online
This could be the benchmark details of the Xiaomi gaming smartphone.
A new smartphone has been spotted on the AnTuTu benchmarking database. From the benchmark details, it looks like the specifications of the mysterious device are in accordance with the standards of this year. The smartphone appears to be dubbed Blackshark that is likely to be the one from the Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi.
Notably, Xiaomi is speculated to be working on a gaming smartphone under a new sub-brand with the same moniker. The rumors point out that Xiaomi has launched a mobile gaming company called Black Shark that will create devices for the smartphone gaming segment. Notably, the Black Shark site shows that Xiaomi is a primary investor in the company.
From the leaked AnTuTu benchmark product page and screenshot shared on Weibo, the Blackshark smartphone is said to feature 32GB of default storage space. We can expect the gaming smartphone from Xiaomi to also arrive in variants with higher storage capacities such as 64GB and 128GB as well. The upcoming smartphone is listed to make use of the recent and most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and Adreno 630 GPU.
The smartphone is likely to adorn a FHD+ display of unknown screen size, 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 pixel resolution. The device is believed to run MIUI based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The benchmark listing points out that the gaming smartphone from Xiaomi has scored impressively with 270,680 points that is higher than the alleged score of 265,267 scored by the Samsung Galaxy S9+.
The specifications detailed above point out that a powerful gaming smartphone is in the making. We are yet to see if the device will arrive with custom features such as boosted graphics or internal cooling to add an extra edge to the device as compared to the ones from other major manufacturers.
If the Xiaomi gaming smartphone turns out to be true, it will be a rival to the already announced gaming smartphone - Razer Phone that comes with an UltraMotion display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. This device has a Snapdragon 835 SoC, 8GB RAM and 64GB storage space.
