Xiaomi to Host First Open Sale for Redmi Note 3 on April 27: All you Need to Know

Chinese handset company, Xiaomi on Thursday announced that the Redmi Note 3 smartphone will go on open sale on April 27 at 2PM in India. This announcement was made from Xiaomi's official Indian Twitter account.

However, there is no further announcement about the Redmi Note 3, whether it will be available on the open sale only or will go up for sale via flash sales again.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 comes with an all-metal unibody design and sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) IPS display on the front. Form factor wise, the Redmi Note 3 Pro measures at 150x76x8.65mm and weighs up at 165g.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 650!

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 3 is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 Hexa Core SoC (previously referred to as Snapdragon 618) boasting of a two Cortex A72 cores ticking at 1.2GHz and four A53 cores at 1.8GHz.

Further, this is clubbed with the all new Adreno 510 GPU and 2GB (16GB storage)/3GB (32GB storage) of RAM. Initially, the Redmi Note 3 which was launched in China a few months back came with a Mediatek Helio X10 processor inside.

16MP camera with 4K recording!

This device now comes with a 16MP rear camera with dual tone LED Flash, which can now record 4K videos at 30fps as well as 1080p at 120fps. The 5MP Selfie Snapper capable of 1080p videos is equipped on the top front as well.

Apart from these, the Dual SIM phablet comes with an Infrared Sensor and a huge 4000mAh battery with Fast Charging technology. Even though the device is available on Amazon and Mi India website, it is expected that this open sale will be hosted only on Xiaomi India's official website.
