Xiaomi launches Redmi Note 3 with All-Metal Body and Fingerprint Scanner

    The Xiaomi event is being held today at China. Xiaomi's 'Grand Finale' event is about several of its products being unveiled today.The first Xiaomi product launched at the event was - Redmi Note 3.

    The 5.5" FHD fully-laminated display and comes with Xiaomi Sunlight Display technology.The phone has a full metal industrial design, fingerprint sensor with 0.3s unlock, and a huge 4000mAh battery. The phone has a 13MP rear cam w/ PDAF (phase detection auto-focus), two-tone flash and a 5MP front camera. The best part about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is that it is really thin with about 8.65mm at its thickest point. The device weighs 164 grams, a little super light for a 5.5" device. The Redmi Note 3 comes with MIUI 7 Android-based OS.

    Xiaomi announced that the Redmi Note 3 announced that the Redmi Note 3 will be available in two variants. While one variant is a phone with a 2GB Ram and internal storage of 16GB, the other phone is the one with 3GB RAM adn 32GB inbuilt storage.

    The phone runs on a MediaTek Helio X10 processor, octa-core 64- bit Cortex-A53. The Redmi Note 3 has a fingerprint sensor with 0.3s unlock, Trustonic TEE chip-level security. It has a 4000 mAh battery, 683 Wh/L high density that supports fast charging of upto 50 percent battery charging in one hour.

    The phone is available in colors of gold, Silver and dark grey. Xiaomi is yet to announce the phone for its fans in India.While the 16GB variant is available at 899 Yuan or Rs.9500, the 32GB variant is available at 1099 Yaun or Rs. 11500.
