Several units of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, have been facing issues with reliable Wi-Fi connectivity. Buyers facing Wi-Fi issues while using Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra can now upgrade to the Xiaomi 12 Pro Or 13 Pro.

Xiaomi India President Muralikrishnan B has confirmed that Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra buyers who confirmed they were facing Wi-Fi issues with their smartphone, will be eligible for a complimentary upgrade to the Xiaomi 12 Pro Or 13 Pro. Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra Can Be Upgraded To Xiaomi 12 Pro For Free But Will Have To Pay ₹30K For 13 Pro

Xiaomi recently extended the warranty of the Mi 11 Ultra alongside other smartphones by two years. The remedial action was a response to the growing number of complaints about camera and motherboard issues.

Additionally, the company is now offering a free upgrade to a Xiaomi 12 Pro. Buyers who have been facing Wi-Fi issues with their smartphones can also jump straight to Xiaomi 13 Pro but this upgrade isn't free.

The Xiaomi India President Muralikrishnan B announced the company's latest confidence-building measures in a video message via Twitter. He mentioned that the Mi 11 Ultra users who had previously paid and upgraded their handsets to the Xiaomi 12 Pro will be offered a full refund.

Buyers who bought the Mi 11 Ultra will need to contact the company online or through the nearest Xiaomi service center. It is important to note that this refund is only applicable to users who upgraded their handsets due to Wi-Fi issues.

Alternatively, buyers can opt to get the Xiaomi 13 Pro instead of accepting the Xiaomi 12 Pro. However, to upgrade to the company's latest Xiaomi 13 Pro Mi 11 Ultra users will have to pay an extra fee of ₹30,000. The flagship Android smartphone currently starts from ₹79,999 in India.
