Xiaomi, the Apple of China, has announced the much anticipated Mi 4c smartphone in China. This is Xiaomi's new flagship smartphone added to the company's ‘Mi 4' series of smartphones, which already include the Mi 4 and the Mi 4i.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c comes with a power packed offering that has seems to be replacing the Mi 4. The smartphone sports a 5 inch Full HD display offering 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The company says that the display is 10 percent more battery efficient than its predecessor, and comes with Sunlight Display tech for excellent visibility in bright conditions.
The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with hexa-core and Adreno 418 GPU ensuring good graphics. The phone is available in two variants, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB Flash, and another with 3GB RAM and 32GB in-built storage.
The Xiaomi Mi 4c has been launched in cool white, grey, pink, yellow and blue colors, and is priced for RMB 1299 ($204) that is approximately Rs. 13,410, for 2GB RAM and 16GB Flash, and RMB 1499 ($235) which translates to approximately Rs. 15,470, for 3GB RAM and 32GB Flash, in China.

The Xiaomi Mi 4c sports a 5 inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels, that translates to 441ppi pixel density which is more than iPhone 6 Plus. The display offers extremely vivid colors for watching videos and playing games.
The smartphone is powered by a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chipset, which is a huge advantage for faster processing without any sort of lagging problem. The powerful processor is paired with Adreno 418 graphic processing unit and 2GB/3GB of RAM.
The Mi 4c is packed with USB Type-C. The USB Type-C port helps as reversible converter in connecting an HDMI, USB, OTG, VGA cable and any other cable that is possible of connecting digital media.
Xiaomi Mi 4c flaunts a 13 megapixel primary camera on the back that stacked by Sony's BSI sensor with the ability to capture a great images. Well, the color combination, contrast and hue are balanced and tweaked in the smartphone camera.
The smartphone is packed with bigger 3080mAh battery, which the company claims to last up to 2 days of normal use and 1 day for gamers.
The smartphone comes in two storage models: 16GB and 32GB, but there is no option to expand the storage. Xiaomi has not included a microSD card slot to expand memory.
The smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 808 processor which has the capacity to record 4K resolution videos, but the Mi 4c camera cannot record videos on 4K resolution.
Almost all flagship smartphone in the Indian market comes with NFC support. But, the Xiaomi Mi 4c does not support the NFC connectivity.
We have seen many Android smartphones in the market that features a non-removable battery. But with the non-removable battery on the smartphone, users will not have freedom to fix their own battery problem. However, the smartphone comes with a bigger 3080mAh battery.
The display of the smartphone is impressive, it comes with a 5 inch display at 441ppi pixel density which is more than iPhone 6 Plus. But, the display does not come with Gorilla Glass protection or any other kind of protective layer on it.
