Xiaomi recently launched its first mainstream 108MP camera smartphone -- the Xiaomi Mi Note 10. This phone was originally launched in China as the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro with a five-camera array offering various features like up to 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom, and more.
According to the latest report from 91Mobiles, the company might soon launch the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (global version with Google Play support) in India. The company has not launched any flagship Mi smartphones since the Mi 5 due to the responsiveness of the market. In the last few months, the company did release affordable flagship phones like the Poco F1 and the Redmi K20 Pro.
If launched, the Mi Note 10 is likely to compete against the contemporaries like the OnePlus 7T and the Realme X2 Pro. Though the Mi Note 10 is not a full-blown flagship smartphone, the cameras on the phone are currently unmatchable, especially with a 108MP primary sensor -- the highest resolution camera that we have seen on a smartphone.
Besides, the phone has a 12MP telephoto lens with a 2x optical zoom, 5MP periscopic zoom lens with 5x optical zoom, 20MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Plus, the phone has a 32MP front-facing selfie camera with support for face unlock.
The device bestows a dual-curved 6.47-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a tiny water-drop notch at the top with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730G SoC powers the smartphone with at least 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. The phone runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie OS and is likely to get Android 10 update.
How Much Will It Cost In India?
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 sells for 549 Euros in Europe (approx Rs. 43,000). Considering the aggressive pricing strategy from the brand in India, the Mi Note 10 is likely to be priced around Rs. 30,000 at least for the base variant to compete against its contemporaries.
