The device is believed to get the Android 8.0 Oreo update sometime soon. For now, the company hasn't confirmed its plans regarding the update. The custom ROM called LineageOS 15 will come as a rescue for many users. Notably, the Oreo update is already available for many Xiaomi devices including the Mi Mix, Redmi 3, and more.
