According to reports the Xiaomi Mi4c is scheduled to launch on the 24th of September. Presently Xiaomi lacks a decent device in the mid-range. The existing Mi4i simply can't live up to its competition. Hence with the all new Mi4c the company aims to shake up the market like never before.

With the Redmi Note 2 not landing up in India as of now, the Xiaomi Mi4c has everything it takes to become the game changer for the company in the Indian market. According to leaked specs by TENAA the Xiaomi Mi4c is nearly similar to the existing Mi4i, except in one major department. Unlike the SD615 donning the Mi4i, the Mi4c sports a 1.8GHz hexa core Snapdragon 808 SoC on the inside. This the same SoC that dons the LG G4. The GPU on the inside is an Adreno 418.

The rest including the 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 5 inch HD display are carried over from the existing Mi4i. With the flagship Mi5 delayed due to limitations in the availability of the SD820 SoC, the Mi4c can be the potent back up weapon for Xiaomi. Tech analysts at Gizbot believe that the Mi4c will replace the aging Mi4 in the Rs 14,999 price tag. It's highly likely that the company will keep the existing Mi4i untouched - after all Xiaomi isn't quite known for cannibalizing the sales of its device just after launching it.

The report further adds that the Mi4c will go on sale from 3rd October. But the strange part is that only 1, 00,000 units will be up for grabs.
