Standing tall in the mobile space, China-based smartphone maker Xiaomi kick-started the year 2015 with numerous launches and now the company is in the center of the tech gossip town for its upcoming handset Xiaomi Mi5.

The Xiaomi Mi5 has been an object of various rumors for quite some time now. Recently, Weibo leaker KJuma claimed a massive leak about Xiaomi Mi5 and also leaked details about another variant of the same flagship - yes, we're talking about the supersized Xiaomi Mi5 Plus.

Xiaomi Mi5 - What Specs to Expect?

According to the leak, Xiaomi Mi5 will have a 5.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1440p and Gorilla Glass protection with 2.5D effect.

Moreover, it is said to have 16MP rear camera, 13MP front camera. Meanwhile, the device is also said to come powered by a 3,000 mAh battery that would support quick charging, allowing users to charge 30% of the phone's battery in 40 minutes.

Moving on to the processor, it will come powered by a Snapdragon 810 SoC and might come shipped with Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Xiaomi Mi5 - What Specs to Expect?

Coming to the Xiaomi Mi5 Plus, the leak suggested that the handset will come with 5.7-inch display with 1440p resolution and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor on board. On the imaging front, this device is expected to 23MP rear camera with OIS and laser autofocus, and a 12MP shooter on the front.

And also, it might come loaded with a 3,500 mAh battery along with quick charging feature which will allow the device to recharge charge in 50 minutes.

While there has been no official announcement about the availability of the device from the company's end, however, we are expecting more information in the upcoming days.
