MIUI 9 stable version to be released by October end

Release date of MIUI 9 stable version is out.

The third batch of Xiaomi devices received the MIUI 9 Closed Beta update this week. The early Xiaomi phones such as the Mi 1, Redmi 2A and a few others did not receive the update as the hardware is not robust enough to support the upgrade. All the other devices those were left out in the first and second batches of the update have received the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM in the third batch.

The MIUI 9 update has been rolling out pretty fast and the company is expected to continue in the same phase when it comes to pushing the public roll out Developer ROM Open Beta. It is believed that the open beta might be released within a couple of weeks. Once the Open Beta of the MIUI 9 Developer ROM is out, the next one will be the roll out of the stable version of the update.

Now, the VP Marketing at MIUI has revealed when we can expect the roll out of the MIUI 9 Stable Version while responding to a question regarding the same. Though there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi regarding the same, he has claimed that the Stable Version will out made available in two months or so after the release of the new MIUI version.

He also added that the MIUI 9 system upgrade might take longer as they do not want to push the stable ROM with issues. As the Stable ROM of MIUI 9 is the final one, it is believed to come with bug fixes.
