Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 Specifications and Design Confirmed Ahead of Launch on June 26

Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil the MIX Flip 2 smartphone in China this week. The MIX Flip 2 succeeds the original MIX Flip and will feature flagship specifications. Ahead of the launch, the company has unveiled several key details about the device.

The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 is launching in China later this week on June 26 alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra, Redmi K Pad, Xiaomi Pad 7S Pro, and several other products.

The launch event will take place at 19:00 local time or 16:30 IST. Those interested can watch Xiaomi's upcoming event live on the company's official Weibo handle. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Xiaomi Flip 2 will be available in black, gold, purple, and cyan colours.

Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 Specifications and Design

The Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 features a three-sided equal-depth micro-curved screen paired with a frosted metal middle frame. It incorporates a new hinge structure, and Xiaomi claims that the screen is exceptionally flat. This model is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and includes a robust 5165mAh battery.

The device boasts a 4.01-inch multi-function large external screen and features Leica optics. The main camera uses a Leica Summilux lens with an f/1.7 aperture and a 23mm focal length. Additionally, the secondary camera has an f/2.2 aperture and a 14mm focal length, suggesting an ultra-wide capability instead of the telephoto option seen in previous models.
