Xiaomi Redmi 4 Leaked Online: Find out Specifications and Features
Xiaomi Redmi 4 is making waves online before its launch and here is the proof.
Keeping upcoming smartphones under the shelf before their official launch is just impossible in the world of technology. And when you are one the most popular brands among the lot, it gets even more tough. We are talking about Xiaomi, which is gearing up to launch the successor of Redmi 3.

As reported by Android Authority, the new smartphone- Redmi 4 has been spotted on local telecom site, TianY, with some renders and a few hardware specs for the phone.

Full Metal Body with Fingerprint Sensor
As per the leaked images, Xiaomi Redmi 4 boasts a metal design with curved edges on the rear side. The smartphone's front hints a display with minimal bezels with three touch capacitive buttons placed at bottom of the display.
The rear side shows the antenna bands, a circular camera sensor, flash light and a fingerprint sensor. Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be available in Silver and Gold colour variants.
5-inch Full HD Display
Going by the leaks, Xiaomi Redmi 4 will come with a 5-inch display supporting full HD (1080p) resolution. It's an upgrade over Redmi 3, which has a 5-inch HD display.
Respectable Hardware
As per the leaks, Xiaomi Redmi 4 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, however the chipset's maker name is not specified. In previous rumours, it was claimed that Redmi 4 will run on a Snapdragon 625 SoC.
The CPU will be accompanied with 3GB of RAM.
Imaging Power
The new hardware leaks suggest that the upcoming Redmi 4 will have a 13 MP rear camera accompanied with dual LED flash light. A 5 MP front-facing selfie camera will be provided on-board.
Large Battery
Xiaomi has been focusing big on battery backup from quite a while and Redmi 4 will follow the same tradition. The smartphone is supposed to have a 4,000 mAh battery unit, which will be more than enough to last a day.
It is too early to talk about the price of the smartphone but we expect it to be priced around Rs. 12,000 in the Indian market. Xiaomi Redmi 4 will fight the likes of LeEco Le 2, Lenovo K5 Note, Moto G4 and Samsung Galaxy J Series handsets.
