Xiaomi Redmi K30 Certification Details

The Xiaomi Redmi K30 has cleared its certification from 3C which is a Chinese mobile authentication platform. This indicates the rumors suggesting a launch next month kin China could be true.

Also, some live images of the device have surfaced on Weibo alongside the 3C certification listing. The leaked live images corroborate with the design revealed by the official teaser poster previously and also confirm some of the hardware.

While the Redmi K30's 3C certification has revealed support for 30W fast charging, the leaked live images tip the display. One of the leaked live images suggests a big 6.6-inch display with 1080 x 2400 pixels FHD+ resolution and a pixel density of 395 PPI.

Also, the display is said to offer a 120Hz refresh rate which currently is being offered by the Asus ROG Phone II only. While the processor is unspecified, a Qualcomm chipset is listed along with Adreno 618 GPU.

Considering the Redmi K30 will be a mid-range offering, we can expect at least a Snapdragon 730G chipset. But, nothing concrete can be said at the moment. It is worth mentioning that some previous reports also suggested a Redmi K30 5G in works.

Lu Weibing, Xiaomi's Vice President recently suggested the arrival of Redmi K30 5G in 2020. Also, there is no specific detail available on the Redmi K30 Pro as of now. It remains to be seen when Xiaomi brings the successor of the Redmi K20 series and what all upgrades it introduces in the new lineup.
