Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro With MediaTek Dimensity 8200U Launched
Xiaomi has announced the Redmi Note 12T Pro in China. The smartphone is the successor to the Redmi 11T Pro launched earlier, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC that debuted earlier with the Xiaomi Civi 3 last week.
The company has not announced any plans to launch the Redmi Note 12T Pro in India, but it will likely launch in another name in the country. The smartphone is perhaps one of the most powerful devices under the Redmi Note lineup so far, featuring high-refresh rate display, high resolution camera and a flat boxy design.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12T Pro: Specifications and Features
The Redmi Note 12T Pro sports a 6.51-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It has a flat-edge design with a ceramic-like finish, and a camera island that resembles the design of other Redmi Note phones launched this year.
The smartphone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra SoC, one of the Taiwanese chip designer's newly launched high-end chipset, that promises high octane gaming. The chipset is coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
The smartphone packs a 5,080mAh battery with 67W fast charging on top. The phone runs on MIUI 14 with Android 13 under the hood.
As for the cameras, the Redmi Note 12T Pro features a triple camera setup led by a 64MP primary camera, along with an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro is offered in black, white and blue colourways and will be available in Mainland China. The pricing and availability details will be announced closer to the sale date, which has not been disclosed yet.
Looking at the spec sheet, the Redmi Note 12T Pro does not change anything other than the chipset over its predecessor, the Redmi 11T Pro. Nearly all the specs are identical except for the upgraded internals.
