At an event in China, Xiaomi unveiled the next-generation Redmi Note series, a new tablet, TWS earphones, and more. The Redmi Note 13 Pro has been announced, but it will go on sale starting September 26, 2023.

Xiaomi has restricted the availability of the Redmi Note 13 series to Chinese buyers. However, the Redmi Note series has always arrived in India after launching in China, and the Note 13 series should not be an exception.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro is available in two variants. The entry-level model with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage starts at ¥1399 (approx. ₹16,150 / $191 / €180). The top-end variant of the smartphone packs 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Xiaomi hasn't announced the pricing of this variant.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro features a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED TCL C7 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The screen has a peak brightness of 1800nits, 1920Hz PWM, and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. The display hides an under-display fingerprint scanner.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, which is paired with Adreno 710 GPU. Buyers can opt for either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Buyers can get either 128GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro features a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 200MP OIS Samsung HP3 ISOCELL primary camera. It is paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The Redmi smartphone has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Xiaomi has embedded a 5100mAh battery inside the Redmi Note 13 Pro, which supports 67W wired fast charging. Some of the other notable features of the device include an X-axis linear motor for haptic feedback, dual-stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro runs Android 13-based MIUI 14. It supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2 and features NFC. Despite packing a 5100mAh battery, the smartphone weighs 187 grams.
