Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Series Launch Confirmed for Next Week: Design, Rear Camera Setup Teased

Xiaomi recently teased the design and launch timeline of the Redmi Note 14 series. After several months of rumors, we now know that the Redmi Note 14 series is launching in China next week.

Xiaomi also shared a poster image with two smartphones, presumably the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Redmi Note 14 Pro+. Apart from the design, the poster also hints at the phones offering water resistance and gives us an idea of their rear camera setups.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 Series: What we Know so Far!

According to the official poster, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ will be offered in a green shade. Moreover, it will feature a triple-camera setup on the back with a 50MP primary sensor that supports OIS and boasts an f/1.6 aperture. Additionally, the Note 14 Pro+ also has a 60mm f/2.2 mid-focus lens.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro in the image appears to have a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS support. However, the third camera in the setup will likely be a macro lens as opposed to the telephoto shooter seen on the Note 14 Pro+.

Furthermore, the Redmi Note 14 Pro is shown in a white shade. Xiaomi has also confirmed that the two phones will be waterproof, all-but confirming the IP68 rating.

The announcement emphasized the Note 14 series' "anti-fall, waterproof and service guarantee". This also suggests a new level of drop resistance. While other details about the Redmi Note 14 series are yet to be confirmed, the phones have been doing in the rounds in the rumor mill.

Redmi Note 14 Series Specifications Expected

The Redmi Note 14 Pro will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the Note 14 Pro+ could use the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 SoC. You can also expect a vanilla Note 14 to debut alongside the 'Pro' models, which could use the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro models will use a 1.5K curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla Note 14 will likely be downgraded to an FHD+ OLED display. The Redmi Note 14 series will run Android 14-based HyperOS out of the box. The Redmi Note 14 series will also pack large batteries with extremely fast wired charging support.
