Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Listed In Chinese Certification Center, Specs Leaked

Xiaomi has been on a big launching spree this year with Redmi 2, Mi Note, Mi Note Pro, 2GB version of Mi 4 and Mi 4i. Now, details of the Redmi Note successor have surfaced online. According to a new report, the purported Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 smartphone has passed the China's Quality Certification Center.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Certified In China, Specs Leaked

A Chinese website managed to gather information from the certification site and has listed the specifications of Redmi Note 2. The handset sports a 5.5 inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, powered by a MediaTek's Helio X10 MT6795 SoC, and runs on Android 5.0 or 5.1 with its own MIUI interface on top.

It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, a battery larger than 3000mAh and it supports TD-LTE connectivity.

Meanwhile, earlier rumors claimed that the Redmi Note 2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 410 MSM8919 chipset. A leaked information last month claimed that Xiaomi might launch the Redmi Note Pro alongside the successor of Redmi Note.

Earlier, Xiaomi launched two Redmi Note smartphones; one with 3G connectivity and another with 4G LTE support. However, Xiaomi has not mentioned any details about its upcoming device.
