Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 now available for global pre-order via Chinese resellers

Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 was launched a few days back in China alongside the Mi Pad 2. The metal clad mid-range phablet is now available for global pre-orders via Chinese resellers.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 packs near same internals as the previously launched Redmi Note 2. The notable difference however lies in the presence of a metal body, fingerprint sensor and larger battery.

The Redmi Note 3 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920x1080p) display upfront along with a 5MP selfie snapper. Under the hood the Note 3 is powered by a Mediatek Helio X10 SoC (2.2GHz x 8 Cortex A53 cores) and 3GB of RAM.

The back of the metal clad phablet sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF (Phase Detection Autofocus Sensor) and Fingerprint Sensor. To power the octa core phablet is a large 4000mAh battery - marked improvement from the 3000mAh unit found in the Note 2.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 is priced at $171.99 for the 16GB storage/2GB RAM variant via Everbuying on using a special promo code 16Note3. The 32GB storage/3GB RAM variant on the other hand is priced at $199.99 using the promo 32Note3. It worth noting that the coupon codes are only applicable for the Silver and Gray variants.
