Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Rival Alert: Coolpad Note 5 Launched Today with Reliance Jio 4G Support
Coolpad, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer added a new smartphone to their product portfolio, namely, the Coolpad Note 5. At the event in New Delhi, the vendor said that the Note 5 will be exclusive to the Indian market.
Also, the company quoted that it will be a successor to the Coolpad Note 3. Same as the other Coolpad smartphones, this smartphone will also be exclusive to Amazon India and comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999. Coolpad will start selling the smartphone from October 20.

In terms of features, the Coolpad Note 5 comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a pixel density of 401 PPI. It comes packed with 4GB of RAM and octa-core Snapdragon 617 chipset. Till date, the Coolpad Note 5 is the cheapest smartphone to feature 4GB of RAM. Also, there is 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up o 64GB via a microSD card slot.
In terms of camera, the phone rocks a 13MP rear camera along with a LED flash. Notably, the company also added a LED flash to the 8MP front-facing snapper.
This dual-SIM smartphone boots Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box and is armed with a 4010 mAh battery with a standby time up to 350Hrs. Moreover, the smartphone comes with VoLTE support and supports the Reliance Jio.

As expected, the Coolpad Note 5 is priced aggressively and goes against the like of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 2, and Lenovo K5 Note.
