Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is a bestselling smartphone in the Indian market. The device took the Indian smartphone arena by storm keeping up the name of its predecessor the Redmi Note 3 that was also a popular budget smartphone. The Redmi Note 4 surpassed its predecessor by outselling the same in a shorter time span.

According to the previous reports, Xiaomi managed to witness a significant growth in Q3 2017 and the Redmi Note 4 garnered 40% of the overall share. The device is the highest selling smartphone in the country in second and third quarters of the last year.

Detailing on the specifications, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 bestows a 5.5-inch FHD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Under its hood, the smartphone makes use of an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2GHz paired with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage space. The smartphone comes with a microSD card slot supporting expandable storage space.

The device employs a 13MP primary camera with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, and f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. Given that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 might be launched in India as the Redmi 5 in the next month, it is not surprising that the company has slashed the pricing of its predecessor. The buyers of the Redmi Note 4 can opt for the newly introduced smart delivery option powered by Smartbox and get their order delivered to a nearby digital locker.
