Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro first sale figures out: Biggest sale ever for the company
While there were high expectations, Xiaomi has claimed that it has seen a massive response in the first sale of the two phones.
Xiaomi has now revealed the figures of the first flash sale that it conducted on February 22 for the Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The newly launched devices went on sale yesterday on Flipkart and mi.com. While there were high expectations, Xiaomi has claimed that it has seen a massive response in the first sale of the two phones.
According to the company over 300,000 Redmi Note 5, Redmi Note 5 Pro units sold out within the first three minutes of the flash sale. Xiaomi has further stated that this was the biggest sale ever. Apart from the phones, the company had also put up Mi TV 4 for sale and the company has stated that the TV also sold out within 10 seconds. The number of units for the Mi TV has not yet been disclosed.

In any case, Xiaomi seems to have struck the right chords with its new products once again. Besides, Redmi Note 4 was the highest selling smartphone in India last year. It will be interesting to see how the new handset will fare in the coming days.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also announced the date of the next sale. The device will be up for sale on February 28 at 12 PM on Flipkart and mi.com. The devices should be available across Mi Home stores but in limited quantities. Next sale for Mi LED TV 4 will happen on February 27.
If you are interested in buying the device, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price in India starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM variant and it goes up to Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM model. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is retailing at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM variant while the 6GB RAM variant will cost Rs. 16,999. As for Mi LED TV 4 which comes in a 55-inch model is priced at Rs. 39,999.
