Redmi Note 5 new render appears online: Xiaomi can take my money if this is true
Hopefully, Xiaomi makes justice for our long wait with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
Xiaomi is expected to announce the successor to its most popular smartphone the Redmi Note 4 in the coming months. The device has reportedly been certified by TENAA and we have already seen several renders as well numerous other leaks in the past few days about the handset.
But again, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is a much-awaited smartphone and fans as well as consumers, have a lot of expectations from the company. Having said that, while we still have time for the launch new leaks and rumors about the smartphone seem to continue to pour in. This will basically go on until the device is officially revealed.
And just as we say this, a new render of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has just been spotted online. Our first thought, if it is true then Xiaomi could yet again create a huge stir with this smartphone in the market especially in India. It will take Redmi Note 4's legacy to a whole new level.
However, talking about the leaked render courtesy Slashleaks, the smartphone seems to come with a full-screen design. The screen to body ratio seems to be high with very thin bezels both at the top and bottom. The top bezel houses the camera, sensors, and the earpiece while the bottom part doesn't feature anything. The capacitive buttons are gone and it looks like Xiaomi will go with on-screen navigation keys.
As for the rear part, the smartphone has an entirely new design mainly in terms of camera setup. There is a dual camera vertical setup but with separate modules. The fingerprint scanner sits below the cameras. There is the Mi branding further down.
Apart from the aesthetics, previous rumors and leaks have suggested that Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will likely be powered by Snapdragon 625/632 chipset coupled with 3GB/ 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage. The handset is further said to come with a 5.99-inches FHD+ resolution display and it will probably be running on Android Nougat with MIUI 9 skin on top.
The Redmi Note 4 successor is said to be equipped with a dual rear camera setup comprising of two 12MP sensors and it is further said to come with a 4000mAh battery. And that is pretty much we have on the device. Notably, more rumors and leaks should appear in the coming days.
