After selling all the units of Redmi Note 5 in all the flash sales, the company is once again making the smartphone up for sales starting today. The sale will be held on company's official website and on Flipkart. The sale will commence at 12:00 PM IST (Indian Standard Time). Along the Redmi Note 5, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will also be made available for the pre-order on Mi.com. The smartphone will be available for purchase from 13 April at 12 PM until 17 April.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in February this year and since its launch, the smartphone has been in high demand. The phone has been made available for purchase via online flash sales on Flipkart and Mi.com. The smartphone is also available on Mi Home stores and Xiaomi offline retail partners.
Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi made the announcement via its Mi.com site, as well as the MIUI Forum. The company claims priority shipping for pre-orders (generally within seven business days). According to the new policy, the pre-orders are limited to one or two smartphones per order, and the COD (cash on delivery) payment option is not applicable to this smartphone.
Redmi Note 5 Pro specifications
The Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a 5.99-inch 2.5D curved glass full HD display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with Adreno 509 GPU and either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is the "fastest Redmi Note ever" with an AnTuTu score of 109,692. The phone comes with a 64GB of onboard storage which can be expandable via microSD card.
As far as cameras are concerned, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup, with the combination of 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel camera sensors on the rear. The rear sensors support an aperture of f/2.2 and a 1.25-micron pixel size along with the LED flash.
On the front, the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with a 20-megapixel selfie camera with Sony IMX376 sensor along with a LED selfie-light module.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro will come with a base price of Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM variant is available at Rs. 16,999. The smartphone comes in four colour options Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold.
