Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro First Flash Sale Today: Price, Offers, Specifications
Xiaomi recently launched two new budget Redmi series smartphones -- the Redmi Note 8 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro in India. Redmi smartphones were usually sold through Flipkart, at least for the first few weeks. This time around the Note 8 Pro will be available exclusively on Amazon with a starting price of Rs. 14,999.

Prices And Launch Offer
The Redmi Note 8 Pro will be available in three variants. The base variant offers 6GB RAM and 64GB storage and will cost Rs. 14,999 and the mid-variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost Rs. 15,999. Lastly, there is an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant that costs Rs. 17,999.
These phones will go on sale at noon on Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi Homes across the country. Xiaomi has partnered with Airtel to offer up to 1,120GB of free 4G data with free voice calling on select recharge plans.
Redmi Note 8 Pro Specifications
The Redmi Note 8 Pro flaunts a 6.53-inch HDR-500 certified IPS LCD screen with a tiny waterdrop notch. The display is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 with a 2.5D curved finish. Under the hood, the MediaTek Helio G90T SoC powers the smartphone with 6/8GB RAM and 64/128GB onboard storage with a dedicated microSD card slot.
The phone runs on MIUI 10 on top of Android 9 Pie and the device will receive MIUI 11 update by the end of 2019. This is also the first phone to have Alexa built on to the device India.
The phone has a quad-camera array with a 64MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP 2CM macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. Besides, there is a 20MP selfie camera at the front with a software-assisted face unlock.
A 4,500 mAh Li-ion battery fuels the phone with support for 18W fast charging via the USB Type-C port with a fast charger included in the retail package.
