Xiaomi Redmi Note 8T Live Images Hit The Web, Key Specs Revealed
Xiaomi's Redmi Note 8 is an affordable mid-range smartphone that has been launched in the global markets including India recently. The device misses out on one notable aspect, which is NFC. While this feature is not mandatory for a mid-range smartphone, the company is working on an NFC variant of the device dubbed Redmi Note 8T.

As of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the Redmi Note 8T but the device has been hitting the rumor mills quite often these days. Previously, we came across the leaked renders of the Redmi Note 8T. Now, its live images have emerged online, thanks to the Twitter-based tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.

As per the recent set of leaked live images, the Redmi Note 8T appears to have a promo sticker taped to the display, which reveals key specifications. The live images show that the upcoming Redmi smartphone will have almost similar specifications as the Redmi 8.
Well, it is seen to arrive with a 6.3-inch display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The hardware aspects revealed by the leak include a Snapdragon 665 SoC and a 4000mAh battery. There seem to be quad cameras at the rear of the smartphone along with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro lens. The company is believed to launch the Redmi Note 8T with the 48MP sensor as the Note 8.

Another image of the Redmi Note 8T shows the contents of the retail package. From the image above, it is seen to have a clear case, an 18W charger, and a USB cable. The charger has EU pins, which hints that the device could be launched in select European markets.
What We Think
As per the source that leaked these images, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the Redmi Note 8T could be priced 199 euros (approx. Rs. 15,600). As of now, there is no official confirmation and we cannot come to any conclusions right now. However, seeing the leaked information, it looks like the Redmi Note 8T could be launched soon in select markets.
