Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini specs leaked, to come without dual-camera
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Pro in China a week back, and rumors around its variant under work have started taking rounds already. A new report has surfaced on Weibo, putting light on the specs of an upcoming variant of the Redmi Pro.
According to the report, Xiaomi is planning to launch a new smartphone, called the Redmi Pro Mini, which will be the compact version of its recently launched Redmi Pro.

The key highlight of Redmi Pro is its dual-camera set up, however the leaked information suggests that Redmi Pro Mini will only have a single camera at the back. The news comes a day ahead of the launch of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S in India, which is scheduled to happen in Delhi on August 3.

Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini: Specifications and features
Going by the report, the Xiaomi Redmi Pro Mini will feature a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, which is smaller than the Redmi Pro's 5.5-inch full HD display. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset. The Redmi Pro, on the other hand, comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants. The 32GB model comes with a MediaTek Helio X20 deca-core processor with 3GB of RAM. The other two variants are powered by Helio X25 deca-core processor with Mali-T880 GPU.
While the Xiaomi Redmi Pro flaunt a dual-camera setup with 13MP Sony IMX 258 sensor for still images and has a dedicated depth of field image sensor, and a 5MP Samsung sensor. The Pro Mini has a single camera set up, with a primary 13MP snapper.

Other features of the Redmi Pro Mini include a 4,000mAh battery with fast charging support.
Price and variants:
Xiaomi is expected to launch three variants of the Redmi Pro Mini, which will differentiate mainly on the basis of the storage. The company is expected to launch a 3GB RAM variant with 32GB internal storage priced at 1,499 Chinese Yuan (approx Rs 15,000). Then there will be another variant with 4GB RAM and 32GB storage priced for 1,699 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 17,000). The top end model will come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB native storage, and will be priced at 1,899 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 19,000).

There is a slight difference in price in the Redmi Pro and Redmi Pro Mini variants. All three Pro variants cost slightly more than the variants of Pro Mini.
