Xiaomi is gearing up to make an announcement in India today. The company has already sent out media invites for the event and is expected to launch the Redmi Y2 as an Amazon exclusive. The Redmi Y2 is none other than the rebranded Redmi S2, which went official in China last month. The device is touted to be a selfie-centric one and the company is teasing this feature on social media.

15:50:49: The Redmi Y2 base variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage is priced at Rs. 9,999. The top-end variant with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs. 12,999. The device will be exclusive to Amazon and the sale will debut on June 12. There will be Airtel and ICICI partner offers as well. The Airtel users will get Rs. 1,800 instant cashback.

15:50:23: The MIUI 10 beta will be rolled out this month and the stable version will come later.

15:33:20: MIUI 10, which was launched last week is the next product. It focuses on speed, sound, design and AI portraits. The future MIUI updates will focus on speed, claims the company. The MIUI 10 also focus on the full-screen design trend. It paves for a new Recents section with a redesign.
