Xiaomi releases Mi 6X selfie camera samples in portrait mode
In its latest teasers, Xiaomi has posted some of the official selfie shots which are said to be clicked on the Mi 6X. The images are spotted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo on Thursday.
Xiaomi is all set to launch its upcoming smartphone Mi 6X (Mi A2). The launch date is scheduled for April 25 at an event which is going to held in China. The invites of the events are already been teased by the company on Chinese social media Weibo. The upcoming mid-range smartphone is said to arrive with a vertical dual-camera setup along with an edge-to-edge display.

In its latest teasers, Xiaomi has posted some of the official selfie shots which are said to be clicked on the Mi 6X. The images are spotted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo on Thursday. Xiaomi has revealed a couple of selfie snapshots which are taken on Mi 6X. The smartphone is expected to rebranded ad the Xiaomi Mi A2 in the Indian market like the Mi A1.
The teaser showcases six selfie images which show the front camera portrait mode capabilities of the smartphone in various lighting conditions. As per the teaser, the Xiaomi Mi 6X will sport a 20-megapixel selfie camera with portrait mode.

Rumors suggest that the front camera of the smartphone comes equipped with Sony IMX376 image sensor with an aperture of f/2.2 along with front-facing selfie flash. As far as rear cameras concerned, the Mi 6X features a dual-camera setup with the combination of 12-megapixel Sony IMX486 primary sensor with the aperture of f/1.8 and 20-megapixel Sony IMX376 sensor with f/1.8 aperture.
The Mi 6X is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, clubbed with 4GB/ 6GB RAM and 32GB/ 64GB/ 128GB onboard storage. The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.99-inch full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080x2160 pixels and aspect ratio of 18:9.

However, we still have to wait for the launch event before believing these rumors. As always this information is based on rumors and speculation and must be taken with a pinch of salt.
