Xiaomi Rolls Out MIUI 11 Global Stable Update For Redmi Note 4
Redmi Note 4 which was earlier included in the Xiaomi's second batch of roll-out program, is now receiving the MIUI 11 Global Stable update. The global update is available with version number MIUI 11.0.2.0.NCFMIXM, with an approximate size of 458MB. Besides, smartphones like the Redmi 5 and 5A have started getting the update.
The screenshots of the update have been shared by the users, via Twitter. However, there are no manual download links nor any announcements have been made on the forums regarding the update. The moment update is available on your Redmi Note 4, you can download and install it using a strong Wi-Fi connection, by ensuring that your device is on the charge.
To check the availability of the MIUI 11 update on your Redmi Note 4, you need to go to the "Settings" option, and then to "About phone" followed by "System update". Other than that, the update rolls out with several new features like new minimalistic design, quick replies, new dynamic sound effects, Mi share, floating calculator, updated Mi file manager, steps trackers, and more.
To recall, the Redmi Note 4 was launched with a 5.5 inches capacitive touchscreen display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 SoC which is paired with up to 4GB RAM and up to 64GB ROM option. It has a single rear as well as a single front camera. It packs a 4,100 mAh battery and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Some other sensors carried by the device are an electronic compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, infrared, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and hall sensor. Lastly, the phone was launched in black, gold, Dark Grey and Lake Blue color options.
