Xiaomi slashes price of the Redmi Note 12 4G in India. Check New Price, Specifications

Xiaomi has officially dropped the price of the Redmi Note 12 4G in India. To recall, the Redmi Note 12 5G made its initial debut in India back in January.

The phone was unveiled alongside the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, followed by the Redmi Note 12 4G a couple of months later. Now, little over six months after its launch, Xiaomi has cut the price of the Redmi Note 12 4G in India.

Redmi Note 12 4G Price Cut in India

The 4G version of the Redmi Note 12 now costs Rs 12,999 in India for the base 6GB/64GB variant and Rs 14,999 for the top-end 6GB/128GB model. To recall, the Redmi Note 12 4G was unveiled at Rs 14,999 for the base variant at launch.

Apart from the recent Redmi Note 12 price cut, the phone has also been listed on Amazon India. Xiaomi previously sold the Redmi Note 12 via Flipkart and Mi.com.

Customers can also avail a discount of Rs 1,000 using select credit cards with the purchase of the Redmi Note 12 4G. The Redmi Note 12 4G is offered in Ice Blue, Lunar Black, or Sunrise Gold color options.

Redmi Note 12 4G Specifications

The Redmi Note 12 4G is powered by the Snapdragon 685 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage that can be expanded via a microSD card. The Redmi Note 12 sports a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

The Redmi Note 12 4G has a triple camera setup on the back, comprising a 50 MP primary camera. An 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2 MP macro camera accompany it. Up front, the phone gets a 13 MP camera for selfies, video calls, and face unlock.

Xiaomi has equipped the Redmi Note 12 4G with a 5000 mAh battery and 33W wired fast charging. The phone offers dual SIM support, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and USB Type-C connectivity. It boots MIUI 14, which is based on Android 12. The Redmi Note 12 4G also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and dual-stereo speakers.
