Xiaomi Teases Another Device of 14 Series in India; Xiaomi 14 Ultra Incoming?

Xiaomi is all set to unveil the Xiaomi 14 on March 7 in India. Now, the brand has shared a new teaser, hinting that more than one Xiaomi 14 series smartphone will be coming to the country.

Xiaomi's latest teaser says ''The countdown has begun - only 3 days until the grand reveal of Xiaomi14Series''. Although, the brand did not mention the name of the device. There is a chance the Xiaomi 14 Ultra might launch along with the Xiaomi 14.

Earlier, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra was also spotted on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website, suggesting an imminent India launch. Xiaomi recently launched both the Xiaomi 14 and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra at MWC 2024 event.

Xiaomi 14 Ulta: What to Expect?

The key highlight of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is its camera. The smartphone offers a quad-camera setup co-developed by Leica. The handset has a 1-inch-type 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with Hyper OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 50MP 3.2x telephoto camera, and a 50MP 5x periscope telephoto camera.

For selfies, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has a 32MP OmniVision OV32B40 selfie camera with support for 4K video recording at up to 60fps. The smartphone sports a 6.73-inch 2K OLED LTPO display with a 120Hz variable refresh rate.

It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

The phone packs a 5,300 mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging, 80W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The high-end model of the Xiaomi 14 series was launched at EUR 1,499 (around Rs 1.3 lakh) for the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage variant.

As mentioned above, Xiaomi is yet to confirm the name of the other device which will join the standard Xiaomi 14. So, it's better to take this with a pinch of salt and stay tuned for the official announcement on March 7.
