Xiaomi To Foray Into New Market On December 9 With 15 Products
Xiaomi is currently present in most of the countries in the world, including its home market China and India. The company also started its operation in Europe and other Asian subcontinent as well. Now, the company is all set to enter Japan, with a twist.
Xiaomi Japan twitter page is currently live and it already has a verification blue badge. The translated tweet from the handle suggests that the brand is set to enter Japan on December 9 with a range of products like smartphones and accessories.
As of now, the brand is keeping the products behind the curtains. The launch invitation has a total of 15 circles, which might suggest that the brand might launch up to 15 products on the inauguration day.
As per the previous instances, the company is likely to enter Japan with a couple of Redmi smartphones like the Redmi K20 and the Redmi Note 8 Pro. Plus, Xiaomi is also expected to launch items like the Mi Band 4, Power Banks, and headphones. The brand might also launch a series of smart televisions with a custom UI that will be tailor-made for the Japanese market.

Should Others Be Worried?
Japan is a long-known country for its technological advancements. Brands like Sony, Toshiba, and Sharp originate from this offshore. And these brands are known for disrupting the tech world by making some of the breakthrough innovations.
Xiaomi is entering a market, where people take their tech seriously. As the brand is known for offering affordable products with technological advancements, the company might be able to capture a certain part of the market.
The brand should be super careful, when entering a market like Japan, as launching a product that might not work there could be a huge blow to the number one smartphone brand in India.
