Plus, Xiaomi is also expected to launch items like the Mi Band 4, Power Banks, and headphones. The brand might also launch a series of smart televisions with a custom UI that will be tailor-made for the Japanese market.

Should Others Be Worried?

Japan is a long-known country for its technological advancements. Brands like Sony, Toshiba, and Sharp originate from this offshore. And these brands are known for disrupting the tech world by making some of the breakthrough innovations.

Xiaomi is entering a market, where people take their tech seriously. As the brand is known for offering affordable products with technological advancements, the company might be able to capture a certain part of the market.

The brand should be super careful, when entering a market like Japan, as launching a product that might not work there could be a huge blow to the number one smartphone brand in India.
