Xiaomi Unveils Redmi 13 4G With 90Hz Display, Helio G91 Ultra Chipset

Xiaomi has introduced its latest budget smartphone, the Redmi 13 4G in the European market. The smartphone offers a 108MP camera, 90Hz display, 33W fast charging support, and much more. Let's look at the features and pricing of the Redmi 13 4G.

The Redmi 13 4G has a 6.7-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. This high-resolution display is a notable feature for a budget device. Running on the latest Android 14 OS with HyperOS overlay, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G91 Ultra chipset. This combination aims to deliver smooth performance.

The phone is available in two storage variants: one with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and another with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The onboard storage can also be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card slot. The device also features a dedicated dual SIM slot, making it versatile for users needing multiple SIM cards.

The Redmi 13 4G's dual rear camera setup includes a 108MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a 13MP front camera. The phone packs a 5030 mAh battery unit, complemented by support for 33W fast charging through a Type-C port. Despite its large battery, the device maintains a slim profile with an 8.17mm thickness and weighs around 198.5 grams.

The Redmi 13 4G is also IP53-rated for dust and splash resistance and includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. It supports dual 4G VoLTE connectivity and comes in four colours: Blue, Pink, Gold, and Black, all featuring a glass back design.

The Redmi 13 4G is priced at EUR 199.99 (approximately Rs 18,041) for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will cost EUR 229.99 (approximately Rs 20,747). As of now, there is no word regarding the India launch. It remains to be seen if Xiaomi has any plan to bring the Redmi 13 4G in the country.
